Robert Howlett, 1832-1858 was a pioneering British photographer who took a number of iconic photographs including one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He died aged 27 of typhoid.

The rood screens and detail at All Saints Church, Marsham,Norfolk. On the north side (left), the figures are St Faith with a saw, St James the Less with a fuller's club, St Thomas with a lance, St James with a staff, St John with a poisoned chalice, St Andrew with a cross and St Peter with his keys. On the south side (right) are St Paul with a book, and St Philip with a basket. The identities of the next four panels are unknown, and the last panel is St Thomas of Canterbury.
