Shippea Hill station in Cambridgeshire. The request-only stop was, until recently the least used station in Britain. Limb workers are defined under Section 230(3)(b) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 as someone who works under a contract to personally do work or services for a company, but isn’t fully self-employed or running their own business. More often known as the ‘gig economy’ workers get basic rights like minimum wage and paid holiday, but not full employee rights like unfair dismissal protection. Uber & Deliveroo are two of best known employers of such practises.

Babak, a Hungarian of Iranian descent, whose parent sought asylum from their home country waits for his friends in Wisbech market place on a Saturday afternoon wearing his new jeans. Taking advantage of the Citizens' Rights Directive 2004/38/EC he came to the UK for work and is employed in a vegetable packing factory on the edge of the town.
