Chris Lee becomes one of the first to sit astride what may be the UK?s most unusual park bench. The ?20000 seat in the shape of a 1936 Knucklehead Harley Davidson in the village of Littleport , Cambridgeshire was commissioned to commemorate one of the village?s famous sons ? William Harley. From humble origins Harley emigrated from the Fenland village to America and fought in the Civil war. His son started the legendary motorcycle company with Scotsman Arthur Davidson in 1903. The aluminium statue is designed to be sat on by the public and celebrates 100 years of Harley in the USA. 24 05 05
